The clay is trucked and then placed in a water-extractor. They take the clay and shape every bead by their hand. A stick is poked into each bead to form the hole. The "greenware" beads are then fired and the resulting "bisque" beads are painted using different colors. The beads are fired again in an electric "kiln". The beads are just gorgeous.
