The Djoniba Dance & Drum Kids is a unique program that offers children ages 3-16 years old an intensive curriculum of African dance and music classes, regardless of their experience. Committed to inspiring young people, our mission is to develop the star in each child and make them shine. Kids respond naturally to the message of music and dance. Studying and performing dance and drum will help them understand the rewards of hard work and discipline in addition to giving them a sense of community and values that will be reflected in all aspects of their lives, especially their academics.
Djoniba centre is committed to providing underserved children the opportunity to study dance & drum regardless of their family's financial situation. DDDKids is made possible solely through the donated time of the instructors and generous contributions of individual donors Since its founding, Djoniba Mouflet has awarded more than 600 children full or partial scholarships.
DDDKids is now a part of the PeriChild Program. For more details click on Peridance.com or call Shelley, Director of the Children's Program at 212-505-0886.

The DDDKid Scholarship Fund
The DDDKids scholarship fund waives or reduces tuition for children of low income families.
Just because they lack funds, children should not be deprived of the power, self-discipline and joy that dancing and drumming provide. The arts help children to perceive their own inner-strength, beauty and intelligence, which helps them dream and achieve success.
ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE Djoniba Centre is a 501-C3 Not-For-Profit Organization
